1. Overview

Y311-440 is a 4DI + 4DO remote I/O module available in two network variants:

  • Y311-440-W: Wi-Fi version
  • Y311-440-R: RJ45 Ethernet version

Both versions share the same DI and DO channel count, relay capability, control logic, and Modbus mapping. The main difference is the network interface and default network settings.

7. Installation and Wiring

  1. Connect a 7 to 40 VDC power supply.
  2. For -W, configure Wi-Fi. For -R, connect the RJ45 Ethernet cable.
  3. Wire the DI and DO terminals according to the field signals and loads.
  4. Set the device address and network parameters, then complete Modbus commissioning.

8. Important Notes

  1. Y311-440-W and Y311-440-R are two separate models, not one device with both Wi-Fi and RJ45.
  2. Choose -R for wired projects and -W for wireless access.
  3. If the load exceeds the relay rating, add an external contactor or solid-state relay.
