1. Overview

Y202-W is the Wi-Fi-only model in the Yengear Y202 standard DTU family. It bridges two independent serial channels to a Wi-Fi uplink and supports transparent TCP, UDP, HTTP, and MQTT sockets, Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP conversion, JSON upload, remote AT, and watchdog protection. It does not provide an RJ45 Ethernet interface.

With 5 to 36 VDC input, a dual-core 240 MHz MCU, and a compact DIN-rail-ready enclosure, Y202-W is well suited for retrofit cabinets where wiring space is limited but dual-serial access is required.

2.1 Model Configuration

Y202-W is a dual-port Wi-Fi DTU without an RJ45 Ethernet uplink. The ordering suffix selects the serial configuration: -2H for two RS232 ports, -4H for two RS485 ports, or -6H for one of each.
