Y301 MiniLink Series User Manual
Applicable models: Y301-110, Y301-200, Y301-020.
MiniLink Series are compact I/O modules for small-scale switch acquisition, simple relay control, and device integration. This manual covers installation, default parameters, interface descriptions, and basic wiring.
Product Overview
MiniLink Series connect to PLCs, gateways, or data loggers via serial communication using Modbus-RTU protocol. The compact size and low channel count fit space-constrained control panels or applications with minimal I/O requirements.
Key features:
- RS485 communication standard; RS232 and TTL available on selected models.
- Power supply range: DC 5~36V.
- Digital inputs support both dry and wet contacts.
- Relay outputs control valves, lights, alarms, and small actuator circuits.
- DIN-rail or screw mounting for control panels and device integration.

Selection guide:
- Choose Y301-200 for two switch inputs only.
- Choose Y301-020 for two relay outputs only.
- Choose Y301-110 for one input and one output together.
- For future expansion, consider ControlLink Series models with more channels.

Notes:
- Each device on the same RS485 bus must have a unique address.
- Changes to device address and baud rate typically require a restart.
- If communication fails, check the address, baud rate, A/B line polarity, and GND connection.

DO terminal definitions:
COM: Common terminal.NO: Normally open; disconnects from COM when relay is off, connects when on.NC: Normally closed; connects to COM when relay is off, disconnects when on.
Installation and wiring notes:
- Power off before wiring.
- Use shielded twisted pair for communication lines. Add 120Ω termination resistors at both ends of long RS485 runs.
- Add flyback diodes, RC snubbers, or surge protection when driving inductive loads.
- Do not exceed relay contact ratings: AC 277V / 10A or DC 28V / 10A.
DI Wiring Diagram
Applicable models: Y301-110, Y301-200.
DI channels collect signals from switches, buttons, level sensors, limit switches, and other discrete sensors.
Wiring notes:
- Dry contact input: Connect the switch or passive contact between DI and the common terminal.
- Wet contact input: Connect the external DC 5~36V signal to DI and the common reference to DICOM / GND.
- DI channels only collect signals; they do not power external devices.
DO Wiring Diagram
Applicable models: Y301-110, Y301-020.
DO channels provide relay contact outputs, commonly used to control valves, lights, alarms, and contactor coils.
Wiring notes:
- Relay contacts do not output voltage; external load power is required.
- The typical control method routes the load power line or positive terminal through COM and NO.
- Use COM and NC for normally-on applications.
- For AC high-voltage loads, have a qualified electrician perform the wiring with proper insulation, protection, and fuses.
