The Y952 is a project-configured electrical safety distribution box for construction sites, temporary installations, and other locations that require local circuit protection and traceable electrical events. It can combine protection devices with optional voltage, current, residual-current, temperature, circuit-status, alarm, and event-recording modules.

Local devices perform protection actions. Network services, the management platform, and the mobile app can report status and events, but they do not replace local protection.

Global power notice: Each cabinet is built for a specific project and destination market. Confirm the nominal voltage, frequency, phase and conductor arrangement, earthing system, prospective short-circuit current, upstream protection, and local compliance requirements before ordering or installation. The site supply must match the nameplate and approved documents.

6. Communication and Operating Boundaries

Network access can provide status viewing, abnormal-event notifications, event synchronization, and management-side traceability. The platform, app, interface, and notification channels depend on the delivered configuration.

When the network is unavailable:

  • Local distribution and confirmed protection actions continue without cloud access.
  • Remote notifications, management queries, and event uploads may be unavailable.
  • Event storage, later upload, and identification of offline events must follow the approved project design.

Management functions support visibility and traceability. Protection settings, action times, breaking capacity, installation safety, and acceptance remain governed by the electrical design, component documents, and test records.


7. Mechanical, Installation, and Testing

  • Verify the site supply, load list, earthing, upstream protection, and protection coordination before installation.
  • Confirm the enclosure rating, ventilation, temperature, weather exposure, cable entry, and service clearance.
  • Install and label power circuits, monitoring wiring, communication wiring, and earthing conductors according to the approved drawings.
  • Do not perform live wiring, bypass protection devices, or change protection settings without authorization.
  • Qualified personnel must install, set, test, and maintain the cabinet in accordance with local electrical codes.
  • Test every configured protection function, local indication, notification, event record, reset method, and circuit state.
  • Test insulation, earthing continuity, temperature rise where required, network loss, network recovery, and event synchronization.

8. Important Notes

  3. Monitoring Is Not Protection: Measuring voltage, current, residual current, or temperature does not imply a corresponding trip function.
  4. Notification Is Not Resolution: An alarm confirms that the system generated a message; personnel must still inspect and resolve the fault.
  5. Reset Requires Verification: Restore power only after the site procedure confirms that the fault and risk have been cleared.
